REFRACTIVE SURGERY Consultation

Laser vision correction has become an option for people who are nearsighted, farsighted, and/or astigmatic. The most common procedure currently used is LASIK (Laser Assisted in situ Keratomileusis). This is a surgical procedure, performed by an ophthalmologist, to permanently reshape the cornea to reduce the need for glasses or contacts.

As with any elective surgery decision, the patient should consider all potential outcomes and be well-informed regarding his or her particular vision circumstances before proceding or ruling out this option. We offer consultation, pre-operative examination, and post-operative care in cooperation with The Eye Center in Bloomington, IN.
